Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked for a family for a year. I would watch a group of kids ages 5-11 for a bible study group in the evenings for a few hours. I would also watch two of kids during the week day after school. I would help with homework, light cleaning, preparing snacks and meals and playing with the kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the park, library, or playing games. Sometimes taking walks around my neighborhood(The family I worked for lives close by in my neighborhood) Sometimes if the weather was bad we would play card games, singing and dancing inside, and reading and working on their homework together!

Being patient with the kids. As a nanny, you spend hours with children so you will need to be able to handle their mood swings and behaviors without being irritated. Also communicating with both the kids and the parents. Listening to the needs of both parents and the kids and for me asking questions to make I know how to best care for your children.

Arts and crafts. Sometimes the kids would give me their artwork. I still have some of it to this day!
