A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Mikayla! I have had years of experience working with children, both special needs and typical. I have volunteered and worked for 9 years at a horseback riding facility that caters to the special needs community. This facility also runs a day camp for one week every year where I have worked one on one for a week with many different children! In addition to this I have also worked as a camp counselor for typical children for 5 years. For the rest of the year, when I am not at school, I babysit for two children age 7 and 9. I have been their babysitter for around 3 years! I am also a horseback riding instructor and work mainly with typical children teaching them the basics of horseback riding and how to interact with the horses. I love kids and would love to continue working with them while going to school :)
