A little bit about me

I'm a home care nurse working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I graduated from Carroll University in 2023 and took one year of nurse residency at the Milwaukee VA before my current job. I have experience in summer camp counseling and volunteering for numerous years - all at Camp Vertical at Elmbrook church. I'm looking to develop a strong relationship with a family that has shared values that I can help encourage and support them. I believe it takes a village to raise a child - I guess I'm just trying to find what village might need me! I like art (painting specifically), reading, and obviously value health and hygiene (nurse). I like adventures and snacks, and videography to document all the memories. I think a dream activity I'd love to do with kids is a routine of a read-aloud chapter of Tolkien or C.S. Lewis on a daily basis (for the appropriate age). I hope to teach kids that the world is full of wonder with or without tech, and hopefully form a good relationship with technology.
