More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
One of my most memorable childcare experiences was when I acted quickly to save my baby cousin during a bounce house deflation, ensuring their safety and calming the situation. This moment highlighted my ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize children’s safety above all else.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love organizing activities that spark creativity and learning while being tons of fun! Whether it’s crafting imaginative art projects, playing outdoor games to encourage physical activity, or reading stories that inspire curiosity, I strive to create experiences that are both enjoyable and enriching. I also enjoy cooking simple recipes with older kids, which teaches practical skills and teamwork, and setting up sensory play activities for younger children to explore their senses in a safe and engaging way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported. This means being reliable, patient, and attuned to their needs—whether it’s lending a listening ear, helping them navigate a challenge, or simply ensuring they have a fun and engaging day. Building trust with both the children and their parents is key, as it lays the foundation for a strong, positive relationship that promotes the child’s well-being and development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a shy child I was babysitting build the confidence to try out a new board game with their sibling. They were hesitant at first, but with a little encouragement, they quickly became the game’s biggest fan, giggling and strategizing their way to a win. Seeing the pride on their face as they overcame their initial hesitation was so rewarding and reminded me how small moments can build confidence in children.

Babysitter Available in New Orleans, LA: Gia E.
I’m Gia (31) and I’ve been a part time nanny in the US and an au pair in France during my college years.
For the last 7.5 years I’ve worked for a trilingual private school in Los Angeles — students there saw me as a big kid; someone to play with, tutor them, or a big sister keeping them safe and happy.
I’m fluent in English and French, I have a lot of Spanish, and I used to nanny for a Dutch family without a language barrier issue (laughter is the same in all languages).
Let me know if you just need a babysitter or something more committed, I will help out where I can.
