My experience with special needs children...
I have no direct experience in caring for special needs children, but I have a lot of experience with people specifically on the autism spectrum. I have never and will never treat someone with special needs differently than any other child. Every kid has different needs, and meeting those needs shouldn't mean they feel any less capable or happy than anyone else.
