Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a 3 year volunteer with the Special Olympics where i worked with kids with Special Needs. I have 17 neice and nephews combined and have babysat 1-7 at a time. I was also a Student-Teacher for 5 months where i taught children basic things and helped the teachers with their work.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
If its a rainy, snowy, or cold day I like the play games with children. Such as Hide & Seek, Monster, Tag. I also like the bake with them to teach them how to measure and whisk, stir, beat. If its a nice day outside I would go for a walk, go to the park, if you have pets i would also bring them, or even go to the pool. We could go to an arcade to get out of the house or even the mall play area.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for special needs children 6 times in my life. I have worked with non-verbal, autism, down-syndrom, agressive. I have dealth with kids from 8-18. Teaching them safe-hands and helping them with their needs.
