Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My most recent work with children was this past summer at a youth camp. I have worked the past 3 summers with children ages 11-16, however, have babysat for all different age ranges!--
I have worked for multiple families with babies, toddlers, and children as their go-to babysitter. In doing so, I have dealt with responsibilities ranging from making meals, taking children to/from school, helping with homework, and preparing for bed.
In high school I was a PAL (peer assisted learning) and help elementary school students who had learning disabilities and behavioral issues.
I have worked in my church's Sunday school and worked with 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls. I also worked part-time for my church and would care for the full-time staff members' children (ages 3-8).

I am very easy going, and usually find enjoyment doing what the child enjoys whether thats building legos, playing restaurant, going out for a sweet treat, swimming, or having a fashion show!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Although I love having fun, I think it's very special being somebody that the child can look up to and trust. I also value a good relationship with the parent where communication is prioritized!
My experience with special needs children...
As I mentioned previously, I was a PAL in high school, so that meant tending to students who needed extra attention. Some of those kids were ones with special needs, and I would spend out time together being a friend as well as helping them with school work.

It's always a treat being given drawings, bracelets, or any art project a child makes for me!!
