I enjoy doing almost everything with children. I’d say my favorite are to bake, color, and read with children! Outdoor activities are also always fun, but in the summer can be a bit of a challenge.

The most important thing to me is to make sure the child feels heard. Children are often just blown off, but I personally try to listen to them and show them I am actively listening and do care.

My favorite nanny moment is when the children would successfully do a task I taught them. For example, I helped a little girl use the restroom and she called me over to “show me how she sets up” and did everything perfectly! I let them know how proud I was, and we haven’t had any issues with the potty since!
