Hi! My name is Mariah, i’m currently seventeen (18 in 3 months) and in highschool. I’m searching for any part-time babysitting or Nanny job in my area, or with a reasonable commute.
I’ve taken care of multiple children since the age of 10, ages 2-5. I’m a great cook, I’m comfortable with any aged children.
I’m also an AP student, so if any children are in need of a “tutor” or a little bit of school guidance, I can 100% provide any help that’s needed. As well as keeping children entertained & engaged in activities that don’t just involve phones and/or social media.

I’ve volunteered at after school programs, as well as visiting elementary schools, and having a kindergarten pair where i played a big sister role and got to care for the child.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy teaching children how to draw/color/paint as i am an artist myself.
I enjoy outdoor sports such as basketball & kickball — I find it important for young kids to get outside rather than being inside all day.
I read to kids as well, one of my favorites is Pete the Cat :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most about being a nanny/babysitter is giving the parents the break that they need & allowing the mother/father to take a step away and get whatever they need done. I come from a single mother so I know how much it means to have time away. I value being able to help any person in need.
