A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Miranda Fries ( pronounced like freeze not fries 🍟)
I am currently going into my fourth year of teaching PreK in the Rowan Salisbury school system. I have worked in childcare since I was 16years old. I have a passion for teaching and traveling. I have a wonderful husband Colton. We are expecting our first child in December. We also have a sweet little weenie dog named PintoBean. I am looking for a nanny position that welcomes me bringing my baby with me OR would like for me to provide in home childcare at my house.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started working in childcare 2017. My first childcare job was with a local family who had 3 year old twin daughters, I nannied for them full time while I was in college pursuing a dental career. While working for this family I quickly learned that early childhood education was my passion and began to pursue a career in childcare. 6 years later I still babysit for the family on occasion and have loved building a relationship with them. I am currently a Prek teacher in with RSS

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love learning through play and don’t mind children getting messy! (Of course I am very good at cleaning after) but I think a nanny should be active and enjoy doing activities that interest each child with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think compassion and relationships are most important. I think it’s amazing when a family trust and support to you to help take care of their most prized possession

My experience with special needs children...

I do have limited experience with children who may have special needs. I’ve worked most in my teaching job with children who may have more social or emotional special needs but I am always open to learn and help however I can.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment definitely has to be having three of the children from my previous job at a daycare center who I nanny for occasionally be a part of my wedding as my two flower girls and ring-bearer. I meet them when they were just 6month old little babies and I loved having them walk with me down the aisle on my special day
