There were a few special needs children at my old place of employment but I've also babysat children with special needs and some of my closest friends are on the spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was getting the kids ready to go home from the park and they requested their photos taken so we had an impromptu photo shoot that lasted a lot longer than a quick picture 😂. That is also tied with coloring with on of the children at the YMCA and she had drew me a picture and wrote " u Rae tha beas" on it ( translation: you are the best)! It's still hanging on my wall today :)
