I love working with children, I'm 20 years old. I have 8 siblings and I’ve babysat them since I was 12 years old. But I’ve babysat other peoples children as a way to make money the last like three years. I’m very fun and entergetic. I love finding new ways to keep children entertained and happy. I’ve worked with a 14 year old who has disabilities so I’m very flexible with that kind of thing. I’m currently working on becoming a CNA, and I know different tactics to help calm children down when they are dealing with high anxiety and stress. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve babysat children the last 3 years as a side job to make a little bit of money. I’ve also been a disability aide for a 14 year old and I watched over her and her 6 year old brother mondays-fridays and I helped make dinner and get them dressed and ready for bed and I provided fun interactive activities to help keep their brains flowing and keep them occupied while parents were working.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making forts and finding new ways to make them, I love coloring, doing puzzles, I’ve found kids love going out side and running around and getting all their energy out helps a lot when caring for them. I also enjoy making fun little snacks with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping to make sure the children are having fun but making sure they are safe and out of harms way.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for a 14 year old who has ADHD and Autism and who uses a walker and a feeding tube, I helped with disrupting meds and formula in the afternoon and evenings, while also creating fun interactive activities so that she didn’t get bored or mad. I also helped her regulate her emotions in high stress and anxiety situations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Aria and I loved going for walks with her stroller, shed love talking to me about her day and what she did and at times she’d get a little sassy because she said I was asking too many questions and my favorite was when I’d start tickling her and you could just hear how happy she was and the joy that she had.
