Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love getting lost in arts and crafts, as I find them both therapeutic and deeply satisfying—it’s one of those activities where the time just flies by and keeps kids happily busy. I enjoy sparking young imaginations through activities like building forts, going on outdoor adventures, and engaging in creative dress-up play where children can act out characters and stories. As an avid reader, I share my love for books with children of all ages, fostering story time and nurturing a lifelong love of reading. I also love bringing my passion for cooking and baking into childcare—getting messy in the kitchen together and letting kids help with meals and desserts (which is a fun way to encourage them to explore new foods ;) ). In addition, I organize and plan exciting outings and experiences that inspire curiosity, keep kids active, and fill their days with meaningful memories.

The most important part of being a nanny is ensuring that the children in my care are always safe—their well-being is absolutely paramount. Beyond physical safety, I believe it’s just as important that children feel truly seen, heard, and supported every day. I make it a priority to praise their accomplishments, encourage their growth, and create a secure, nurturing environment where they can thrive with confidence and joy.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with Autism, partnering closely with parents to understand their child’s unique needs and providing patient, compassionate care that honors their individuality. I have also cared for children with severe food allergies, including celiac disease. I work hand-in-hand with parents to create safe, comforting meals that fit each child’s needs and make them feel supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching the twins I cared for perform in their very first Lunar New Year play at school. It was such a touching experience to see them shine on stage, and I felt so proud of them that I was moved to tears. Sharing in those milestones and celebrating their growth is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny.
