Hello my name is Molly Blackwell, I am an 18 year old college student attending Texas State University. I spent my highschool years caring for children of all ages, and love to create fun activities and experiences for the kids I spend time with! Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to engage in screen-free activities such as arts and crafts, imaginary play, outdoor activities, and toy play! One of my favorite things to do is what I like to call ArtWalk, this activity consists of the child and I creating unique artwork, then displaying it around the room in a museum style. Then once the museum is ready, we have a walk-through discussing each piece of art. And or course if the child would like, I always love to end with a dance party!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny in my opinion is accomodating to the needs of the child. Every child is unique and special in their own way and being able to adapt to those needs is very important. Something else I love to prioritize is teaching kids how to be creative without technology. I have found that nurturing a child's creative and imaginative mind is a key factor in babysitting.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat a precious boy with Down Syndrome for 3 years and absolutely adore it! I like to engage in activities specialized to the child, and am more than willing to accomodate.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting a six-year-old little girl and we created our own cafe! We spent hours playing chef and barista, learning how to deal with rude or demanding customers, and creating unique dishes!
