The most important part about being a nanny is building a safe, loving, and trusting relationship with each child. I believe children thrive when they feel supported, encouraged, and understood, and I always try to create an environment where they can learn, grow, and feel proud of themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs through my role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provided one-on-one support to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. I implemented individualized treatment plans, encouraged communication and social skills, supported positive behaviors, and worked closely with families and supervising BCBAs. This experience strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to meet each child’s unique needs while creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments caring for children was when a little boy I cared for finally tied his shoes on his own after weeks of practice. He ran up to me beaming and said, “I did it just like you showed me!” It was such a proud moment for both of us.
