A little bit about me

I am the wife of a kind and nurturing man, the mother of a beautiful 4 month old girl, and a nanny for the past 3 years to 2 amazing children. I babysat countless children before that as well. I'm patient and understanding. I do my best to be fair but realistic. I'm very easy going and see the glass as half full. I work hard and play hard. I love art, nature, reading, music, theatre, outer space, greek mythology, tellings jokes and playing card/board games. I'm only 23 so I actually remember going through things that the children I care for are currently going through and I really think it helps me to empathize with them. I know exactly what it feels like to be unheard, to not feel good enough compared to a friend, to think that your drawing is bad or to not understand exactly why you're in trouble. I use that empathy to really build a great and long lasting relationship with the children I nanny- one where we are equals who are always open and honest with one another and all work as team.
