More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience working with children in both school and community settings. At Crater Elementary, I worked closely with children of different ages and abilities, including children with disabilities, providing support based on their individual needs. I have also volunteered at the St. Paul Rodeo’s disability event, helping create a comfortable and welcoming experience for individuals with disabilities. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun, hands-on activities with children, such as arts and crafts, playing outside, going on walks, reading books, baking, playing games, and doing creative projects. I also enjoy planning activities based on each child’s interests and age. I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun while also giving them opportunities to learn and be creative.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with a variety of disabilities and individual needs. At Crater Elementary School, I worked closely with children with Tourette syndrome and autism, providing patience, support, and care based on each child’s needs. I have also volunteered at the St. Paul Rodeo’s disability event, where I worked with children with Down syndrome and a variety of other special needs. These experiences have taught me how important it is to understand each child as an individual and create an environment where they feel safe, included, comfortable, and supported.

I bring several years of hands-on experience in caring for children and infants, including babysitting, supervising, and supporting families in a variety of home settings. I’m highly dependable when it comes to following household routines, maintaining cleanliness, and respecting family rules and schedules.
In the past, I’ve held CPR certification specifically for infants and children, and I always prioritize safety by asking in advance about any allergies or special care instructions. I also provide regular updates to parents or guardians through texts and emails, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
In addition to caregiving, I enjoy supporting early learning by assisting with studying and tutoring for young children. I’m also available for school pick-ups and drop-offs, helping to create a reliable and stress-free routine for both children and their families.
