The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory when I was working with kids was my first day in the 2s room at the daycare I currently work at. I walked in introduced myself to the kids and sat down at first a lot of the kids were shy. After a few minutes they all became really curious and started asking me questions. Just like most two year olds they had a lot of questions about everything and they’re favorite question seemed to be why? Also like most two year olds they were extremely honest. One of them asked about “my owe on my face” (my pimple). If you’ve ever had to try and explain ace to a two year old it’s a pretty funny conversation and ended up just leading back to the question why? I was a little bit offended when this first happened but soon just realized that this was simply apart of a child’s way to constantly learning and exploring their curiosity. Now I love when I’m asked oddball questions that make me think of creative and simple ways to explain things in a way kids can understand!
