I have been working in special education for 3 years now. I have worked with kids with autism, down syndrome, visual and hearing impairments, cerebral palsy and intellectual disabilities. I have worked at a summer camp for 3 years as a consular and assistant to the director. I have been babysitting for over 7 years. I have worked with infants to high school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing crafts, building forts having movie nights and helping kids with school work. Outside of the home I enjoy to go on walks, going to the park, pool and zoo.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is helping the child grow physically, mentally and emotionally while creating a loving and nurturing environment in the home. That could range from helping a child with school work, taking that to practice, helping them through big emotions or exposing them to new things. We only want the best for our kids and I believe that helping a child devolve in these 3 areas can help them become wonderful, strong, independent people.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory as a nanny was getting to go to the beach with a family who was taking their baby for the first time and getting to experience the baby's first with the family.
