Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At my grandmas house beinf an assistant for my baby cousin up until he was 4, another experience watching my cousins while their parents were out of town nothing wrong happened, I always entertained all of those cousins those times by toys, and art, and the nature, and books, and movies. I liked to dance with the kids and Was always down for piggy back rides. I always made sure they had food and that they were having too much fun too want me to leave. Never played pg-13 movies only played g and clean pg.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
hiking, biking, walking, tag, hide and seek, card games, movie nights, picnics, swimming, drawing, LEGO’s, book time, tutoring, singing and dancing, meditating outside, dolls, video games, any type of kid toys, swings, kid parks, the gym, extra curricular activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is making the children feel comfortable and at home and that I’m not someone they should be afraid of, that I’m a big sister who is there to guide them and help them not get hurt, as well as making them feel like someone validates and accepts them as they are I support all kids of all races, ages, sexuality, style, and personality. And that’s what’s most important is making the kids feel like they can run to a friend when mom isn’t there.
