A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Morgan Massengale and I graduated from GPS in 2020, and I just recently graduated from Samford University this spring with a bachelors of science in health sciences. In late August, I will be heading to graduate school to earn my doctorate in occupational therapy, and I hope to work in pediatrics one day! I have worked at GPS summer camps for the last 5 years in various roles, mostly working with Camp Kaleidoscope and as an Assistant Office Administrator. While I lived in Birmingham for college, I worked in childcare at my church, and I volunteered at an early learning center. I have babysat in both Chattanooga and Birmingham for many years now, and I have dog/house sat as well. I am CPR and BLS certified, and safety is my top priority! I am most experienced with children ages 3+, but I have worked with younger as well! I would love to help you and your family out, and I look forward to hearing from you!

The most important part about being a nanny...

safety first! As someone planning on working in healthcare, health and safety are my top priority. Second to that is making sure we are following house rules, and third, but equally important, is to have fun! I believe in fostering children’s curiosity and learning through play, while building self esteem and confidence to take on the world!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was baking cookies with one of my favorite little two-year-olds, and we were cracking eggs together, and she was just so perplexed by how the egg white and yolk got into the shell! It was so sweet and funny!
