Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a dance teacher, volunteer and worked the front desk at a studio assisting kids. I have babysat a few times but most of my childcare work was guiding them in a dance studio setting where I worked to create a safe space for them to be themselves and find their passions. It’s where I first fell in love with kids.

There are so many activities I love doing with children but my top are cooking/baking, arts and crafts, going to the park, going for walks and supporting their activities!

To me the most important part is fostering an environment for children that is safe, allows them to be their true authentic selves, gives them support and guidance, is enjoyable and fun, encouraging and supportive and being trustworthy.
My experience with special needs children...
Growing up my dance teachers daughter was special needs and she quickly became one of my favorite people I have ever met. I then worked in another studio where they offered a class for special needs children to allow them to find a love for music and movement. I got to spend so much time speaking and getting to know them and helping them as needed.
