My experience with special needs children...
In high school I spent a lot of time with the special needs students. I didn't have to take care of them but loved spending time with them! I also have a very close friend whose sister has Down Syndrome, I spent a lot of time with my friend and her little sister always loved to hangout with us! We went on trips and everything together and I can honestly say she is one of the sweetest, most caring and amazing individuals I have ever had the chance of meeting!
