During high school and college, I babysat two children, Zoey and Josh, for five years, providing consistent care, homework help, and engaging activities that supported their growth and development. I genuinely enjoy creating fun, meaningful, and safe experiences for children that spark creativity and laughter. I love teaching kids how to bake, turning each recipe into a hands-on learning activity where we can be creative and enjoy the results together. My experience with special needs children...

From my experience of helping to raise my younger brother, who is on the autism spectrum, has greatly shaped my patience, understanding, and ability to communicate effectively with children of different needs and learning styles. Through daily care and support, I learned how to create structured routines, adapt activities to his comfort level, and use positive reinforcement to encourage growth and confidence. I also developed strong teaching skills breaking down tasks into manageable steps, celebrating small accomplishments, and finding creative ways to make learning both accessible and enjoyable. This experience taught me the importance of empathy, consistency, and individualized attention, which I carry into all my caregiving roles.
