My name is Moriah, and I’m a passionate, experienced childcare provider with a background in preschool education and a lifelong love for working with children. I grew up helping in my mom’s daycare, volunteering in the church nursery, and babysitting through my teen years, which sparked a deep commitment to guiding and supporting young kids. I’m now 22, happily married, and love spending time with my large, close-knit family—including my six nieces and nephews and nine siblings-in-law. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been working in childcare and with children for as long as I can remember! From helping my mother with her in home daycare, babysitting, nannying for an infant through high school, and volunteering in my local church nursery and childcare rooms. As a career I have worked the past two years at a childcare center, part of the time as a teacher in various rooms ages 0-5, and then as a leadership member! Working with children is truly my biggest passion!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to create art, do various kid-friendly science projects, sensory play, and many different outdoor activities! I try to be as active as I can and to get the kids moving, while also keeping a balance of having quiet and calm activities as well. But overall it mostly depends on each child's individual interests!

The most important part about being a nanny...

is being a safe space for the children and being someone parents can trust! Even more than ever, it is hard to find people that really truly care for your children, and with my experience working in a childcare center, it can be not only difficult but a very nerve-racking thing as well for parents to put their little ones in the care of someone else. Honesty and communication is at the heart of everything I do!
