More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I know this is in "A bit about me" but I've worked with my mom since I was 16 my mom owns a child care learning business. So everything I know is from her whether it be a CPR classes, first aid classes, how to care for newborns, infants, 1 to 3-year-olds or even school grade kids because we would get those kids in the summertime. I have also worked in the school system as a teacher technically a substitute with kids ages 3 all the way up to 15...
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy painting, drawing, playing with blocks, doing our ABCs, reading, talking about our numbers and colors, watching Elmo and other old school cartoons.I love taking them outside to play on the swings, slides, playing hide and seek and just using our imagination to enjoy the day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There's a lot of things that matter to me being a nanny and so I want to start with saying it has to do with the relationship between me the kid and the parents , the most important thing to me is that the kid is well understood, very loved and taking care of by me because I'm not their mom or their dad and so it's my job to get to learn them so that their needs are met.
It takes a village to raise a kid and to be a part of that Village I have to watch how the parents interact with their kid so that that kid doesn't feel out of sorts when the parents have to go to work or have to leave the room... and that means that I have to build a bond with the parents as well... becoming a part of the family makes it easier for the kids to adapt to the change in circumstance
