Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I raised 6 children of my own and 17th grandchild coming soon. I drove school bus for 25 yrs. Worked for head start as a aide for 3 yrs. and a special education aide 3 yrs. I also worked in a daycare for 2 yrs. The last 12 yrs I have been watching my grandkids. My latest was one in January 2023 and came home on oxygen for 6 weeks. I starting watching her at 4 weeks old and she is doing great.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing outside, going for walks, swimming in the summer, reading, library story time, baking cookies and many other fun activities.
My experience with special needs children...
I raise 2 boys on the spectrum and take care of my 8 yr old grandson that's also on the spectrum. I worked as a special education aide for 3 yrs and drove school bus for 25 yrs. I have been around many children with special needs.
