I've cared for my 3 younger rough acting siblings for 10+ years when my Mother and father were both out and working.
During their absences I've learnt how to care for my siblings by cooking, cleaning, and entertaining them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm mostly an indoor person but I don't mind going outside to the park for a few hours, some light walking around the neighborhood, or playing a few physical games in the backyard.
Indoors is my comfort zone. I enjoy playing electronic and non electronic games with kids. Or sitting in to enjoy their favorite TV show.
Puzzles are my favorite! Jigsaw puzzles provide a bit of brain work while also having the joy of making a pretty picture.
I am willing to try anything safe to keep a kid happy and entertained!

Back when I was younger and my siblings and I would take turns on the Xbox360. One time while watching them at home I got stuck on a level in the game and one of my younger siblings wanted to take a go so I let them.
And they were able to figure it out so quick! So the next few hours we sat on the floor together, passing the controller back and forth when we need the other's perspective.
