Some things I enjoy doing with the little ones are going to the park , read books to or with them , spend some time in the sun , and playing around with arts and crafts .
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a great relationship with the kids and family. Also providing the most positive and safe environment. Being a great role model and always making sure to keep the kids safe! As a nanny, part of my job is to provide the kids with stimulating activities. Cleaning up after the kids mess is a big one too.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve been taking care of my younger brother (8 y/o) for a few years. He is diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. As focusing can be a struggle for him over the years I’ve learned how to become more patient, how to deal with his emotions , and how to calm him down whenever he throws a tantrum, has an emotional breakdown, etc.
