What matters most to me about being a nanny is providing a safe space for a child especially while their parents are away as I know it’s not only hard on a child but their parents as well. I think it’s super important to be communicative with parents and children. It’s also very important to me that a child enjoys my company and being around me, because I don’t want a child ever feelings sad or upset that I am coming to take care of them or be in their safe space.

I have never been a nanny, but I have babysat and I think my favorite moment was when I was baby sitting a 2 and a half year old for a family and she just came running up into my arms and told me how much she loves me. I love children, and having a kid tell me that they appreciate having me around warms my heart. She walks around just saying “Mya, Mya, Mya” all the time when i’m around her.
