Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoors, I love engaging children in creative and educational activities such as arts and crafts, reading and storytelling, puzzles, board games, sensory play, building with magnet tiles and blocks, and imaginative play. I also incorporate music, dancing, and movement to keep children active and happy throughout the day. I provide homework help, tutoring, and fun learning experiences that strengthen reading, writing, and math skills while building confidence. For younger children and infants, I focus on developmental milestones through tummy time, fine motor activities, language development, and interactive play.
Outdoors, I enjoy taking children to the library, playground, parks, and neighborhood walks, as well as organizing active games such as tag, soccer, catch, and obstacle courses that encourage movement and help them release energy in a healthy way. I also enjoy planning fun outings such as museums, play dates , and other age-appropriate adventures with parent permission.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is supporting children as they reach meaningful milestones and making families feel connected to those special moments, even when they can’t be there in real time. I take pride in documenting and sharing developmental progress so parents feel included, reassured, and confident in their child’s growth and daily experiences.

I also believe in creating a peaceful, organized, and nurturing home environment. When parents return home, I strive to ensure their children are well cared for, clean, calm, and happy, and that the home feels restored and in order. Building trust with families is extremely important to me, and I value maintaining open, honest communication so parents always feel secure knowing their children are in safe, capable, and loving hands.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a previously non-verbal one-year-old begin to speak and express herself. When I started, her parents were nervous because she wasn’t making many sounds or attempting words. Through consistently talking to her throughout the day, reading, singing, sensory play, and gentle encouragement throughout our daily routines, she slowly began making sounds, then words. Watching her confidence grow and seeing the joy and relief on her parents’ faces when she started communicating more was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me how meaningful and impactful this work truly is.
