A little bit about me

Hello! I currently work in the Infant room of an early education center. I love my kiddos at the center so much but I am hoping to find something within the next 6 months or so where I can spend more individualized time with each child in my care to help them learn and grow. I don't have a specific date I would be available to start, I'm looking around for the right fit right now so I would only need time to give my center proper notice before I would be available to start. Infants ages 6 weeks to roughly 15 months is the age group I thrive best and have the most education in, however I do have recent experience and education with kids up to three years old. I'd be happy to discuss some light housekeeping such as cooking, cleaning up, and organizing and putting away toys and baby laundry. I'm open to working in homes with pets as well, I love all animals! I am flexible in the hours and days I can work however, I do want to keep it roughly 25-30 hours per week.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I helped with my mother's in home daycare growing up, then once I was old enough began babysitting on my own frequently, and watching the daycare kids independently. Additionally, I worked In a behavioral therapy center in 2023 until I swapped over to the Early Education center I currently work at. In my current position I work with infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months, with the occasional hour or so spent in our 12-18 month classroom helping out.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love planning and trying out all sorts of sensory and art activities! All the things that foster curiosity, independence, and creativity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a safe and fun space for the children in my care to learn, grow, and blossom into their own beautiful personalities. Additionally I value a continuing education. I spend a good chunk of my free time learning and growing my knowledge of early childhood education and Infant care.

My experience with special needs children...

I have some experience with some special needs kiddos and am open to the opportunity to expand my experience in that regard.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It's hard to just pick one but a recent moment that stands out is when I was playing a game with a little 10 month old girl where she was repeatedly putting various stuffed animals onto my head. I would shook them off and goofily said "oh no!" and every time she laughed harder and harder at it.
