With over 10 years of childcare experience, I have provided nurturing, developmentally appropriate care for children ranging from newborns to school-age. My work includes caring for infants and multiples, supporting early learning as a preschool teacher, and homeschooling children with a structured curriculum. As a full-time nanny, I’ve managed busy households, designed age-appropriate lesson plans, and organized creative activities such as art, STEM projects, and outdoor exploration. I also bring specialized training in trauma-informed care, ADHD strategies, and special educational needs, allowing me to support children with diverse learning and behavioral needs. In addition, I am skilled in newborn care including sleep training, feeding routines, and developmental exercises while also fostering social-emotional growth and independence in older children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorites are story time adventures,turning everyday items into arts and crafts masterpieces, and having impromptu dance parties!I enjoy getting outdoors for nature walks, scavenger hunts, or trips to the park,as well as exploring curiosity through hands-on STEM fun like simple experiments and sensory play.I like to invite kids to make fun, kid-friendly recipes and plan outings to the zoo etc . For me,each activity is a chance to help kids discover new interests,build confidence,and, most importantly,have fun while learning.With infants,I love focusing on activities that support their early development in fun, gentle ways like,tummy time,singing lullabies and nursery rhymes to encourage language development,and using baby sign language for early communication.I enjoy mirror play,soft sensory activities,peek-a-boo,and clapping games that spark curiosity and connection. Reading board books and guiding little ones through playful movement or exploration with colorful toys.

My experience with special needs children...

I have over a year and a half of experience working with children with special needs, including in spiritual and educational settings. I am currently a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in training, which has provided me with formal knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, behavior management strategies, and individualized intervention planning

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I turned the living room into a “silly jungle adventure.” I donned a goofy explorer hat while the kids wore homemade animal masks, and we crawled,tiptoed, and roared around the room pretending to be wild animals on a mission to find hidden treasure (which turned out to be chocolate chips and stickers). We laughed so hard that we couldn’t even follow the “map” straight,and I found myself belly-laughing as they tumbled over pillows and made up their own animal sounds. At one point, we paused to dramatically “swing from vines” on the couch, and the excitement in their eyes was pure magic. By the end, everyone was out of breath, covered in confetti from our impromptu “jungle celebration,” and still giggling uncontrollably.That day,I felt joy, pride, and pure happiness watching them create memories, explore their imaginations, and simply be their wonderfully silly selves and I got to be right there in the middle of the adventure with them.
