A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Nadia Serkizyuk. I am 20 years old with 5 years plus babysitting, 2 years of working at a daycare, a year and a half being a nanny. I am CPR and First Aid trained, also with a valid drivers license and car. I am highly dependable, adaptable, organized, respectful, and consistent. I am able to respond quickly to difficult situations (for example: if a child was to get hurt or act out). You will find I am proficient in infant behavior and nutritional needs. I have a strong multitasking ability for handling several children at one time. The ages I have cared for are from newborns to school ages (around 10 years old). At the daycare I was mainly taking care of and watching the ages between 6 weeks old and 3 years old. I have taken care of newborns (days old), toddlers, and preschoolers for full days. As a nanny, I have been taking care of a one year old toddler. My strengths are communication and consistency. My weakness' are getting attached. I would love to build up my strengths and weakness'. I absolutely love children, love caring for them and find them fascinating, and I am seeking further nanny work to continue doing what I love and broadening my experience. A few responsibilities I have had taking care of children are; carrying out daily activities to fulfill the child's physical and emotional needs, preparing meals and serving them to the child, changing diapers, taking the child on walks, going to museums, parks, libraries, reading, teaching abc's and numbers, communicating with parents: telling them how the child's day was, how they did, what they learned, and if anything new happened. I help out with laundry, dishes, and any other requests you may have. The most important thing to remember about caring for a child is to keep them safe and making them feel safe at all times. Children should always feel comfortable.
