The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making your child feel at home, safe; and secure. I want your child to feel like nothing is any different now that their parent is busy and or occupied. I don't want a distraction for your child, I want a place where your child can feel nothing has changed and they can still be themselves. This is the most important part of being a nanny, maintaining safety, security; and normalcy.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a grandson who is diagnosed with autism. His name is Adam. He is 5 years old and is non verbal. However, he is the most playful, loving; and energetic boy you will ever meet. In his early diagnosis, teaching him simple things was a challenge, however; I learned along with my daughter, to be patient with Adam. I learned from him just as much as he learned from me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Putting the kids to sleep. Haha! Seriously, my favorite moment is seeing the kids smile.
