"Nakkita spent two days watching our 7 month old & she was great! She kept him entertained, helped with his meals & nap times. She has a lot of knowledge which we appreciated as first time parents. Our son was always happy and giggling around her, and she was also very easy to talk with. She picked up after him, and was on time. We will be hiring her again to babysit!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a junior camp counselor as well as a camp counselor throughout my life for many camps. I used to care for children at YMCA daycare. I did rescue missions for the Air Force as well as search and rescue which more than often was a searching for lost children if that happened. I was a lifeguard for many years. I also taught swim lessons to children and adults at the YMCA. I worked for TSA for a little bit where there where the random missing child you have to find parents. Even in uniform kids trust and love me! They are the true judge of character!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts, cooking, swimming, going to the park, fishing, honestly I enjoy being a big kid myself so almost anything!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Honestly, I feel the most important thing about being a nanny is letting the kids have fun and learning all while staying safe and doing what we're supposed to! Experiences!!
My experience with special needs children...
I have been a camp counselor for special needs individuals from children to adults. I was a care giver for and elderly man who had suffered a stroke, he was just a big kid to me! He was dear to my heart! My husband also has Cystic Fibrosis and I have knowledge in that!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most memorable moment was a little boy name Jose who I took care of at the YMCA he was a bit of a little troublemaker but he was a sweet boy and we found out that his parents were moving back to Mexico with him and he realized he wouldn't be getting to see me again anymore and he turned around ran back into the Room yelling my name crying to give me hugs and kisses before he left! I cry to this day thinking about him and the biggest hugs and kisses I ever received in my whole life!
