"Nakya was our first care-giver for our son, who was 4 months at the time. She is especially sweet and gentle with young infants. As he grew, with Nakya's deep experience with a variety of ages, she kept us updated with her recommendations and observations on how his needs changed. We eventually added a second family to make it a nanny share, and Nakya managed two boys smoothly -- understanding their different needs and working with two families.
As a partner to adults, Nakya is very available to communicate, open to feedback, and very friendly.
The only reason we're not still employing Nakya today is the Covid-19 pandemic & economic fallout; we no longer need childcare services."

"Nakya was a wonderful employee and nanny for our infant son. She was caring, fun, and made sure he was safe all day long. We loved having her as part of our family. My son would be so excited to see her everyday. Which is always a good sign :) Our family recommends Nakya for full time infant and toddler care!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve spent more than 10 years working in early childhood education, gaining hands-on experience in both classroom and home settings. I currently serve as a toddler teacher, responsible for guiding a class of 1–2-year-olds through social, emotional, and developmental milestones. I plan age-appropriate lessons, lead creative play, and communicate with parents to ensure strong partnerships in each child’s growth. Alongside teaching, I’ve provided in-home babysitting and nanny care for families with infants through preschoolers. My professional training includes CPR/First Aid certification and a Child Development Associate (CDA), which have strengthened my ability to support every child’s unique learning journey.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love combining fun and learning! Indoors, I enjoy story time, music and movement, arts and crafts, sensory play, and educational games that build color, shape, and letter recognition. Outdoors, I love nature walks, bubble play, sidewalk chalk, playground time, and water play during warm days. I enjoy turning everyday activities—like snack time or cleanup—into learning moments that teach independence, manners, and teamwork. My goal is to keep children active, creative, and curious in safe and engaging ways. Whether we’re reading, dancing, or discovering something new, I always make sure they’re smiling and having fun while learning.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a loving, safe, and consistent environment where children feel secure, understood, and valued. Building trust with both the child and their family is at the heart of my work. I believe children learn best when they’re surrounded by warmth, patience, and positive guidance. My approach is to nurture each child’s unique personality while helping them reach developmental milestones through play, structure, and care. I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and respectful of family routines. Knowing that parents trust me with their most precious gift is something I take very seriously—and it’s what motivates me to give my very best every single day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for a little girl with autism whom I’ve known since she was an infant. Over the years, I’ve supported her growth with patience, structure, and routines that help her feel safe and confident. I continue to babysit both her and her younger sister, creating a calm, positive space where they can learn and thrive.
I also worked as a nanny for a premature baby, providing gentle, attentive care to support her early milestones. From feeding and sleep routines to sensory play, I made sure she felt secure and loved through every stage. I still babysit for her occasionally, and it’s been a joy watching her grow stronger and more independent. These experiences have taught me the value of empathy, consistency, and individualized care for every child’s unique needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable moments was when a shy toddler in my class finally said my name and gave me a big hug after weeks of warming up. That simple moment reminded me how much trust and patience mean in this field. Seeing children grow comfortable, confident, and excited to learn truly warms my heart. Another special moment was helping a child take their first steps—I’ll never forget the joy on their face! Every milestone, no matter how small, is worth celebrating. Watching children achieve something new and knowing I had a part in that growth is the best feeling in the world.
