A little bit about me

I have many years of childcare experience. I've worked as a teacher aide in all four grade school levels in inclusion and special needs classrooms. I was the music director at Sunrise Day Camp for three years. I have nannied for 7 different children (3 separate families). I most recently worked as a Direct Support Professional at Developmental Disabilities Institute. At that job I worked closely with multiple individuals on the Autism spectrum. I worked very hard to build trust and rapport and to facilitate their comfortability, education and independence. It was one of the most illuminating and wonderful experiences of my life. My ultimate goal is to provide care and assistance to people of all ages however I can. I want to teach and create safe and welcoming environments for people to learn and live their happiest lives.
