Hi! I'm currently in 11th grade and working hard toward my goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I'm proudly Tigrayan and very connected to my culture, background, and community. At school, I'm an active member of the Black Student Alliance (BSA) and the Diverse Student Union (DSU). Through these groups, I've helped plan events, participated in meaningful conversations, and worked to make sure all students feel seen, heard, and included. Since I was around 11 or 12, I've been babysitting my younger cousins and kids in my community. I love spending time with children, playing with them, listening to their stories, and watching them grow. Being around kids brings me a lot of happiness, and it's a big part of why I strive to become a pediatric nurse.
