Hello! My name is Natalie, I am a young mom to a toddler myself, and a student at Sac State! I have an A.A. in Developmental Psychology, two years of academic credentials in Child and Adolescent Development, and am currently working towards my B.A. in Cultural Anthropology! I have three years of experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis, working with children with autism from ages 3-17. I love pets, can provide light housework, and ultimately want to build a strong bond with your child and family! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My paid childcare experience is in classroom environments and behavioral clinics. Along with having a toddler, I am the oldest of 7 children, with my youngest sibling being 16 years younger than me! This means I have spent many, many years caring for children and being a provider.

I love spending time outdoors, introducing children to cooking and other independence skills, art projects, and creative play!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about childcare for me is connection. I may not always be able to make sure a child is happy, as we know, they experience big emotions! However, I can always ensure a bond and connection that will allow me to help them get through any moment and view me as a reliable figure in their lives. This means parent satisfaction as well! I will always prioritize parents' wants and needs above anything else.

My experience with special needs children...

All of my paid experience has been working with children with special needs. Specifically, I cater to children with autism and other neurodivergent conditions. While I have limited experience with physical disabilities, I am happy to learn how to best accommodate your child's needs!

The most important part about being a nanny...

It's hard to choose just one experience! As a whole, I would say I love watching my kids learn new skills. I've worked with many children who have certain delays that can make social interactions and school expectations difficult. There is nothing more that I love than being able to help them acquire these new skills and watch how that drastically improves their lives!
