I love to go to the park, that is my most favorite! I love to go for walks and ride bikes. If the parent is okay with it I always love to bring the children to get some ice cream or a snowcone, just a little treat for the child!
My experience with special needs children...
I was a part time nanny for a boy with autism for about a year a half. I do still babysit him when needed. He is 8 years old and does have trouble with his speech so having to adapt to how he understood things was a big part of watching him. I hope to take this experience and help other children be comfortable and confident in themselves.
