Hi! My name is Tasha. I’m 24, happily married, and a proud dog mom to Winnie, my sweet little dachshund. When I’m not spending time with kids, I'm usually reading or working on a crochet project. I’m also a huge Tennessee Vols fan—game days are always exciting in our house!

I'm the youngest of five meant I grew up as the go-to babysitter, which sparked my love for caring for children early on.I’ve spent the last five years as a preschool teacher, gaining hands-on experience in creating safe, fun, and enriching environments for young learners. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and hold certificates in (SIDS) and Safety Risks for Infants, as well as Child Development from Birth to Age 12. I have references from parents I’ve worked with who are happy to verify my care, and I’m happy to send my résumé.I’m in school working toward my degree in K–5 education and plan to pursue a master’s in curriculum development. Reading and art activities are some of my favorite ways to spend time with kids because each one blends fun with learning. Reading sparks their imagination, builds language skills, and creates sweet moments together where we can talk about the story and explore even more learning opportunities. Arts and crafts—though sometimes messy—let children express themselves creatively, strengthen fine motor skills, and open up even more chances for learning and discovery. As a preschool teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how these kinds of activities nurture growth, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is making real connections and a positive impact on the whole family. I want parents to feel confident that their child is safe, loved, and happy — and to know I’m doing all of that while creating a joyful learning environment and memories the kids will never forget.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when we were running through the house and stopped for a minute to catch our breath and drink some water. He looked at me and said, “Ms. Tasha, why aren’t you fast? Is it because you’re old?” I practically did a spit take and started laughing. I told him, “No, I’m just slow — not fast like you! Maybe I should go to the gym.” Without missing a beat, he said, “Yeah, you should go to the gym like me and Mommy. Maybe you can be as fast as me someday!” Moments like that keep me laughing and remind me how much fun this work really is.
