A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Donavi, I am CPR/First Aid certified, Montessori Certified (NAMC), and 7 years experienced in taking care of infants/toddlers and preschoolers/elementary grade children. I have watched over my older sibling's and friend's babies for 3 years, and I have worked at a kids play place named Kid Junction for 2 years and received training on how to take care of children with special needs and to recognize food and other allergens. I was a Lead Preschool Teacher for Preschool Explorers (Two's) from Minnieland Academy for 2 years, and also a lead Nido Infant/ Toddler Guide at Montessori Kids Universe for 4 years. Becoming a preschool teacher and a Montessori Nido Guide has given me the chance to understand and improve with how I teach, patience, and how I can help with understanding/relating to each child. As a sensitive and responsive caregiver and role model to children, I strive to take care of their needs and also encourage independence in them as they grow.
