I have experience working in childcare, both in a family setting and through the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) in New York for two years. At home, I ensured the children's hygiene was maintained, prepared meals they enjoyed, and engaged them in educational and recreational activities such as math games, reading, writing, painting, and exercise. I also managed household chores, including cleaning play areas, washing clothes, dishes. I prioritized the children's mental health checking in with them to ensure they felt comfortable, safe, and understood. Communication is extremely important to me.
