One of my favorite moments as a nanny was helping a little boy I cared for learn to tie his shoes. We practiced every day, and he would get so frustrated but I stayed patient and encouraging. The day he finally got it, his face lit up with pride, and he ran around showing everyone. It was such a special reminder of how rewarding it is to support kids through small milestones that mean so much to them.
