My name is Aneesha and I am a 23 year old teacher assistant from Virginia. With a little under 1 year of childcare experience working at the Navy CYP in Bethesda , I have gained so much knowledge including becoming First Aid + CPR certified. I have experience working with children ages 6 weeks - 2 years ( feeding ((bottle & family style dining)), diapering, nap/bedtime routines & more). I truly enjoy watching them grow and helping them reach new milestones. I love doing creative, hands on activities to help improve their motor skills and to overall have fun and make memories. My experience with special needs children...

Working at the Navy CYP, we do not exclude any children. I have worked with 2 toddlers with autism and there were policies in place by the children’s parents stating how to care for their child. We care for them as we do any other, giving them the attention also the space as needed.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a teaching assistant it warms my heart when I enter the classroom and all of my children run to hug me and tell me everything that happened before I arrived. It lets me know that they know I care and love what I do.
