Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At a previous job coworkers were allowed to bring their children to work. Just imagine trying to keep toddlers from trying to steal your brushes and other gadgets lol! I’ve also been with someone who had 4 kids so I took on a lot!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything outdoorsy! I’ve found that it makes for smooth sailing. You can throw your shoes at me if we’re watching tv inside but if we’re outside and you’re wearing them, HAHA you can’t! They’re on your feet! All jokes aside being outside is a lot of fun for everyone involved! I also enjoy putting bluey on while we color in coloring books! 10/10 activity.
For older kids I let them choose what they enjoy activities wise- as long as it’s feasible and okay with parents!

Compassion and patience. Most of all being considerate and listening to the child’s parents!
