More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve volunteered with children in a variety of settings and have experience caring for infants through teenagers. I also served as a peer mentor for youth through the Boston Public Health Commission, where I supported and encouraged young people in their personal growth. In addition, I worked as a camp counselor at Temple Salem Church, helping create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing outdoor games, visiting parks and playgrounds, baking simple treats, building with blocks or LEGO, playing board games, helping with homework, doing age-appropriate science or sensory activities, and encouraging imaginative play. I love finding activities that are both fun and help children learn and build confidence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Building a strong relationship with both the child and their family through patience, consistency, and open communication is something I value deeply.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs through my time as a behavior technician. I’m also currently taking coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and plan to pursue a career in adolescent psychiatry after graduation. This background has strengthened my patience, understanding, and ability to support children with diverse needs while meeting them where they are.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I babysit regularly and help care for my 4-year-old sister occasionally. My favorite moments are putting on music and having little dance parties with the children I care for. Seeing them laugh, be themselves, and have fun always makes my day.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Boston, MA: Meg B.
I’ve received feedback from the families I’ve cared for that I am: kind, trustworthy, compassionate, empathetic, nurturing, playful, caring, organized, affectionate, and a good communicator. I am also quite active - I walk, run, hike, and take fitness classes at The Bar Method and yoga studios - and this definitely helps with being able to keep up with young kiddos!
When spending time with children, I love to include them in fun activities in various environments. For instance, baking, cooking, reading, and doing arts and crafts if we are at home; having local “adventures” at nearby parks, museums, or other outdoor activities.
