More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun and creative activities with children that help them learn, stay active, and use their imagination. Some of my favorite things to do include arts and crafts, reading stories, playing outdoor games, swimming, and going on little adventures like park days or nature walks. I also enjoy helping with simple educational activities, like practicing letters, numbers, or problem-solving games. I think it’s important to keep things playful and positive while making sure each activity fits the child’s age, interests, and abilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children feel loved and supported. It’s not just about watching them, it’s about building trust, forming real connections, and helping them learn and grow through patience and encouragement. A great nanny provides consistency and kindness, while also adapting to each child’s personality and needs. Being dependable, understanding, and genuinely caring makes all the difference in helping children feel confident, happy, and secure.
My experience with special needs children...
I have meaningful experience working with children with a wide range of special needs through my role as a swim instructor. I’ve had the privilege of teaching and supporting children who are neurodivergent, nonverbal, or have down syndrome, sensory sensitivities, or other developmental differences. Each lesson focused on building water safety, confidence, and comfort while adapting to every child’s unique needs and abilities. This experience strengthened my patience, empathy, and communication skills, and taught me how to create a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, supported, and proud of their progress.
