Hi! My name is Nevaeh Manning, and I am 18 years old. Im responsible, patient, and love working with kids. I recently completed my phlebotomy training, which has taught me professionalism, communication skills, and how to stay calm and attentive in important situations. I was also on my high school drill team for all four years, which helped me become very dependable, disciplined, and hardworking.
Im the oldest sibling and oldest grandchild in a big family, so I’ve grown up helping care for my two younger siblings and lots of younger cousins. Because of that, I’ve basically always been the designated babysitter and have plenty of experience with kids of different ages. I genuinely enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for children, whether thats helping with homework, playing games, doing crafts, or just keeping them entertained and cared for.

Some activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, outdoor activities, playing games, baking, reading stories, helping with homework, watching movies, and creating fun screen free activities. I also enjoy keeping kids active and engaged through imaginative play, trips to the park, dance/music activities, and age appropriate learning activities. I love creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, entertained, and cared for.

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, trusting, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. Building a strong relationship with both the children and parents is very important to me, and I always strive to be dependable, patient, and understanding. I want children to feel safe being themselves while also helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a healthy and encouraging environment.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for special needs children’s through helping care for my autistic cousin, who I am often the designated babysitter for because I bond with him very easily and understand his needs and personality well. This experience has taught me patience, understanding, adaptability, and the importance of creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment. I understand that every child communicates and expresses themselves differently, and I always strive to make children feel comfortable, respected, and cared for while adapting to their individual needs and routines.
